October, 2014 - Boot Camp Conversion Training A "Hit" -
Microsoft's discontinuation of Windows XP triggered a cataclysmic change for many clients. Other software and hardware programs changed to the newer Windows interface and required patches and upgrades to their own systems. Entire companies faced a conversion need on the day to day Office packages, while experiencing more technology choices with touch screen, tablets, and laptops.
It was Discovery Training to the rescue! DTS offers boot camp conversion classes in one and two hour classes and targeted the classes by team. "This truly became a life saver education option for clients," reported Mansfield. "Employees were rendered frustrated with the newer Office ribbon and changed "Start" menus alone -- never mind the re-designed tools like charting, presentation and analyis." From Hobson manufacturing in Durham, to Hospital of Central CT to CTI, new and existing clients ordered conversion classes. Teams benefited by training together, and using their own files to learn the new system.
