DTS CEO Advocates for Balanced, Sustainable Budgeting at CBIA Business Day |
DTS CEO Christine Mansfield joined the Quinnipiac Chamber Government Affairs delegation to the CBIA 2017 Business Day. As CT Governor Malloy headlined the morning, Mansfield was one of several audience members to pose a question. As covered from several news entitites, including the CT Mirror, she asked about the balancing act of budgeting, and sustaining long term budgeting practices. Mentioning Wallingford's severe budget proposed impact, Mansfield lauded the town's 'oasis' environment for business and shouldering such an extreme tax liability for the teachers' pension fund shifts. She implored for balance on behalf of the town taxpayers and business owners, and to instead search for sustainable actions. Mansfield, a former Quinnipiac Chamber board member, Chairwoman of the Government Affairs Committee, and former Town Councilor, continues to be an active voice on behalf of the company's client bases, in healthcare, education, municipal and non -profit markets. "It is every one of our responsibilities to be a voice and partner in government, at every level," commented Christine. "Never before has the need for ideation, partnership and sustainable budgeting been needed."
