Christine was quoted in the R-J Newspaper:
The chamber recognized Discovery Training Services for its work to bring customized training and curriculum services to the business community. The company, led by Christine Mansfield, has been in business since 1992. Mansfield has expanded the operation to include software training and consulting for nonprofit organizations, personal coaching, and customized curriculum development. Clients include Eaton Corp. and Masonicare.
Discovery Training Services, located in Wallingford, was also honored for its service to the community. It sponsored the chamber's breakfast meeting with Gov. M. Jodi Rell, and serves on the chamber's Wallingford Public Schools' School to Career Advisory Board. Earlier this year, Mansfield was recognized as a finalist in the Connecticut Technology Council's 2008 Women of Innovation Award.
"Winning this award is equally humbling, gratifying. I'm honored to commit Discovery Training Services to the highest standard of community and business service," Mansfield said after accepting the award. "Whether our client is Yale University or Choate, Middlesex Hospital or the Town of Wallingford ... Discovery makes a connection one student a time, one learned lesson at a time."
