Local Training Trends return to Main Street

WALLINGFORD - Discovery Training Services counts a unique trend in corporate training during this challenging economic time. Local business owners are returning to the training classroom during the last two quarters. The uptick in 'mom and pop' retailers and Main Street business owners bears witness to a transforming business trend. Many have been in business for year in Wallingford and North Haven, but find changing sales. To counter expense management trends, many look now to automation their paper based processes, such as accounting and record-keeping. Others return to learn or build upon computer skills, formerly handled by employees no longer employed -- or re-deployed. With a slimmer workforce and budget, local business people continue to show resilience!
